InterContinental® Lyon – Hotel Dieu
Located on the first floor of the InterContinental® Lyon – Hotel Dieu, the Epona restaurant takes its name from an extremely popular goddess of the Gallic religion, patron saint of horsemen and travelers.
The restaurant extends along the facade of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, where it embraces the historic architectural finishes: stone floors, wooden ceilings and plastered walls. Its luminous dining room, lined with large windows, opens onto the Cour Saint-Louis of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu: a tree-lined terrace with the air of a serene cloister, which is none other than the former medicinal garden of the premises.
In this warm, peaceful atmosphere, chef Mathieu Charrois offers a menu with a strong local flavour, featuring reinterpretations of Lyonnais classics.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, we organize workshops in small groups to discover wines rich in history at the tasting table of a place that is just as rich, the bar Le Dôme, paired with dishes specially chosen by chef Mathieu Charrois.
