June 2026: Summer Highlights at InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu

June 13 & 14: InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu at the Lyon Street Food Festival

The teams of InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu will take part in the 10th edition of the Lyon Street Food Festival within the Vallée de la Gastronomie – France® area.

Chef Mathieu Charrois from Epona Restaurant will host culinary demonstrations centred around ceviche. This fresh summer dish will showcase the finest seafood, enhanced by creative seasonings and bold flavour combinations, including elderflower, peach, watermelon, avocado espuma, pickles, coconut milk, passion fruit, pomegranate and citrus fruits.

Meanwhile, the Le Dôme Bar team will lead wine-tasting workshops featuring two carefully selected wines: Les Arches, the bespoke red wine created by Chai Saint Olive exclusively for InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu, and Saint-Péray Grain de Silex from Domaine Guy & Thomas Farge.

June 21 : Father’s Day at Epona Restaurant

On June 21, Epona Restaurant will celebrate Father’s Day with a generous and convivial buffet.

Weather permitting, guests will be able to enjoy the restaurant’s leafy terrace, offering the perfect setting for a memorable family gathering in an elegant and green surroundings.

To make the day even more special, Lyon-based company Goneo will host a coffee customisation workshop. An original and interactive experience that will perfectly complement this family-focused event.

It will also be an opportunity to discover InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu gift vouchers, offering the chance to treat loved ones to a memorable experience at the hotel, whether a stay, a dining experience, a brunch or a special moment to remember.

Epona Restaurant Unveils Its Summer Programme

Throughout the summer season, Epona Restaurant invites guests to enjoy a series of weekly experiences.

Wine Discovery Evenings, held every other Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., offer an opportunity to explore some of France’s most renowned wine regions through a three-course menu.

Every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wine & Cheese, organised in partnership with the Chai Saint Olive Wine Truck, showcases a selection of wines by the glass alongside matured cheeses carefully selected by Christian Janier, Meilleur Ouvrier de France. Live music completes the experience.

Every Thursday, Brasero Evenings celebrate the art of open-fire cooking with a summer menu featuring a buffet of starters and desserts, complemented by grilled meat and fish as the main course.

Finally, every Sunday, Epona’s Brunch highlights seasonal produce and the richness of French terroirs, with a different region featured each week.

Le Dôme Bar: A Summer Programme Beneath the Dome

Le Dôme Bar is also enhancing its seasonal programme, offering refreshing and elegant experiences throughout the summer.

Every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., guests can enjoy an exclusive cocktail experience in partnership with a renowned spirits house. Reimagined classics and signature creations are available at €17.41 per cocktail, a tribute to the year the Dome was built. In June, Monkey 47 Gin will take over Le Dôme Bar.

Every Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Le Dôme invites guests to enjoy a refined experience featuring a glass of champagne paired with three signature bites.

Every Sunday from 6:00 p.m., La Parenthèse Hôtelière welcomes hospitality professionals for an evening designed especially for them and their teams. For every reservation made, a complimentary sharing platter is offered.
